Your Parish Council
still needs a new Councillor

One new parishioner has recently joined the Council, but we still have a vacancy - even after amalgamating two portfolios as well. If you think you can help make a positive difference to your community, please contact the Parish Clerk. No experience is necessary - just a desire to help Sarratt remain a healthy, vibrant place in which to live - for all of us. Please see below.

Occasional email Communication
from the Parish Council

Sarratt Parish Council would like to engage more with the people it serves. Recent conversations have illustrated how some level of direct SPC communication could benefit a much wider audience.

  • Sharing information more rapidly could be particularly useful where action or a response is required within a particular timeframe. This happens with planning applications, for example.
  • Better communication could also clarify areas where SPC can assist people in the parish - and where it cannot. It could also identify areas worth considering in the future.
  • People could also be kept informed of forthcoming community activities, such as litter picking or work within the community garden.
  • The easiest and quickest methods involve email and social media, which is why in the first instance we are offering people in the parish an opportunity to opt in to receive occasional emails from us, to be sent out from time to time as appropriate. As with all such activities, your rights regarding privacy and opting out will be respected, and are set out in our Privacy Policy.
